GibArt means discovery,
discovery of the beauty,
beauty that amazes,
amazement that arouses passion;
fascination and sharing.
Since 2015, GibArt has had a clear goal: to help everyone discover beauty through the knowledgeable and curious eyes of its guides.
Founded by Anna and Enzo, a father and daughter duo, both art historians and passionate tour guides, GibArt is dedicated to creating authentic and engaging tours and experiences.
Each tour is designed to explore both famous landmarks and hidden corners of Milan and Lombardy, with one common denominator: care.
Care for detail, organization, and above all, for the individual.
At GibArt, the aim is to go beyond simple information sharing, creating unique encounters with passionate and charismatic guides.
Sharing beauty! For me, passion and work go hand in hand; each day is an extraordinary surprise and an exciting discovery, filled with new eyes and familiar faces with whom I walk along the path of beauty.
Art is my greatest passion: museums, exhibitions, art cities, sculpture parks, and archaeological sites scattered across the beautiful Italian peninsula continue to fascinate me in new and exciting ways.
Since childhood, historical events and masterpieces of our artistic heritage have captured my attention. My curiosity has always been fueled by looking, observing, and contemplating the reality of art.
So many impressions, so many questions, so many thrilling inquiries… my path became clearer and clearer…
After obtaining my Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Heritage Studies at the Catholic University of Milan, I qualified as a tour guide in both Italian and English.
Combining the enthusiasm of my studies with work experience, collaborating with cultural associations and educational institutions, has allowed me to see how much I enjoy facilitating encounters with art for both individuals and groups, young and old.
During the years I earned my Master’s degree in Archaeology and Art History at the Catholic University of Milan, I deepened my knowledge in specialized fields of art through advanced training courses.
By working with various associations, companies, and schools, I continue to design historical-artistic, cultural, and thematic tours to introduce both well-known and hidden art in Milan and Lombardy, along with wonderful trips across Italy, with an eye toward Europe.
…the exciting journey to discover beauty continues!
Through the amazed looks and curious questions of those I guide, I see firsthand how the path to knowledge is truly endless, and how the road to beauty is also infinite.
My journey into the world of art began through the eyes of my mother.
“Varda che beo!” (“Look how beautiful!”).
Contemplating the world with positivity and wonder was her constant invitation.
As I grew and studied, my childhood passion for beauty further matured. Beauty, its history, and its deeper meanings became the attractive horizon of my interests and my progressive studies.
My degree in Humanities, obtained at the University of Milan, was the great opportunity to deepen and solidify my knowledge in the humanities, with a particular focus on history and art.
The subsequent qualification to teach Art History and over twenty years of teaching in this field provided me with further experiential and educational opportunities to passionately communicate the diverse phenomena of artistic expression.
At the same time, I began guiding friends, colleagues, and students through art locations, as they would ask me: “Take us to see something beautiful.”
I found myself investing time and professionalism in creating historical-artistic itineraries and tours.
Encouraged by this new and exciting mode of communication and sharing beauty, I obtained my qualification as a Tour Guide in both Italian and French. For years, I have been guiding individuals and groups of adults, children, and teenagers to discover both famous and hidden masterpieces in Milan, the cities of Lombardy, and beyond.
Showing others, teaching art, is for me a constant opportunity to rediscover how new works and architectures can be, even when they have been observed and experienced many times before.
Curiosity, research, planning, and precision: these are the qualities that define me, both in life and work.
From a young age, art has been at the center of my education: attending an art high school and earning a Master’s degree in Art History refined my perspective and guided my taste toward the exploration and enhancement of the beauty that surrounds us.
I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with various museum institutions, initially as a guide and later in the department of enhancement and promotion at a prestigious contemporary art museum in Milan. This experience was further strengthened by a Master’s in marketing strategies, communication, and fundraising for Art and Culture.
Driven by the curiosity to see in person what I had studied in books, I began traveling at an early age, discovering one of my greatest passions: planning.
Learning about the history of the places I visited, compiling long lists of museums, architecture, neighborhoods, local spots, and hidden corners to see gave me immense gratification. Organizing all this information into a detailed itinerary ignites my enthusiasm.
In the last four years, my passion for planning has been honed through my role as a Project Manager at a communications agency, where I managed several projects, including the development of global awareness campaigns, and tested my skills.
Today, I return to my roots with renewed energy, combining my love for art with expertise in organizing unique experiences, developed through professional experience.
Each tour represents an opportunity for me to transform beauty into emotion: only by caring for every detail with dedication can we create moments of encounter and wonder!
